Hinkapier along Arsenal Target AceThe possibility of empty jacket

To describe this summer as unprecedented for Arsenal is an understatement.

Gunners have spent heavily on windows in the past, but have never spent as much as this year, nor have they made that many quality additions.

Mikel Arteta was handed over a new starting striker, a new starting six, sensational Ebekiez and a host of high quality team options, and now he can get Piero Hinkapie.

However, with the windows open until next week, the club is set to do more additions, linking with people who are more likely than Hinkapie.

Hinkapier along Arsenal Target Ace

Arsenal fans were still overcoming the excitement of Eze’s move this morning when news broke that the club was about to hijack another Tottenham Hotspur transfer target.

This time, it was Bayer Lebaxen’s Hinkapie who was advertised for the move to the N17 this summer, but it appears next month he will be wearing red and white.

The versatile centre-back looks like he could be a great addition to the Gunners’ already horrifying defensive unit, but now the club appears to be keen on another ace with an even higher ceiling.

At least that’s according to a recent report from Europe that Arsenal claims to be interested in Jeremy Jasett.

Belgian journalists have revealed that gunners are targeting highly rated French defenders alongside other sides such as Real Madrid and Al Giral.

It doesn’t say how much the Stade Rennes gem will cost the people of North London, but it’s unlikely he’ll be cheaper as his weekly contract is expected to run for another four years, as previous reports say their asking price is £43 million.

But the way he is being spoken by people he knows and the experience he already has may be worth splashing cash, especially since he may have more potential than Hincapy.

The possibility of empty jacket

So the first thing to say is if he signed Arsenal to Hincapie this week, he represents a great business and seriously strengthens his backline.

However, since he is set to turn 24 during the season, you can see the player he is today.

Meanwhile, Jackets is just 20 years old and has already played in the top five leagues, catching the eye of top teams like Gunner and Real Madrid.

In other words, there is a sense that the French could be one of the next great advocates of world football, as was considered by William Saliba in 2019.

That may sound like an exaggeration, but we’re not the only ones who are saying this.

For example, respected analyst Ben Matinson calls the youngsters the players “Rolls-Royce” and “CB who craves the next highest after world football.”

More than that, he claims to “have the tools to become the ‘Top 5 of the World’ CB” and to play “with a level of calm that makes the action look very easy.”

Your data also backs up many of these predictions.

Despite being very young, Rennes gems rank in the top 1% of the top five leagues in Europe’s top five league tackles and intercepts, intercepts and long passes completions, according to FBREF.

These numbers paint a picture of a defender who is almost impossible to get past, while also being spectacular on the ball under his feet.

For comparison, Hincapie ranks in the top 1% of one metric of one of Europe’s top five league centre backs: non-comprehensive expectation goals and assists.

In other words, Ecuadorian International is an exceptional defender, but data suggests that his ceiling is not as high as the 20-year-old.

Ultimately, he won’t necessarily earn a lot of game time this season, but Arsenal should be doing everything he can to sign the jacket before the windows close.

He looks like he could become the future world beater, and the last high potential centre-back signed from League One is doing pretty well for himself on the carpet.
