New Arsenal sports director Andrea Berta personally contacted another player along with Nico Williams in a reliable report that he had spoken with the latter representative this week.
Berta will host Nico Williams camp and Arsenal talks
Several trusted media sources claim that Berta has reached out to Williams’ camp in recent days as Italians quickly set off their tenure as director and appears to seduce Spanish International with Premier League moves.

Gunner is my favorite now.
Foot Mercato first broke the news that Berta had contact with a 22-year-old agent in the past few days, with Guardian Ed Aarons backing the report in a statement on X.
Arsenal’s link to Williams is nothing new. It was rumoured that Mikel Arteta was following him last summer, but Winger chose to stay in Bilbao for another campaign and further his development in La Liga.
However, his stance has changed, and Williams is expected to support Belta and Arsenal to push Williams forward to Bilbao’s exit this summer. However, the N5 is by no means his only potential landing point, with Chelsea, Barcelona and Bayern Munich competing for his signature.
This summer, the £200,000 forward has a £48 million release clause written in his contract. This is a rather coup for the player who has won 19 assists in all Bilbao tournaments and helped Spain in the glory of the Euro 2024.
The main obstacle to the completed transfer is reported wage demand, saying some sources are in the £300,000 a week area.

It is unclear whether Arsenal can still hit the deal, but Berta clearly imposes his authority on days after he is confirmed as a man to replace Edu.
Andrea Berta will host Arsenal talks with Martin Zubimendi
According to bootroom and journalist Graeme Bailey, the 53-year-old reached out to another top transfer target, Real Sociedad midfielder Martins Vimendi.
According to their information, Berta is also holding discussions between Zubimendi and Arsenal as he aims to lead Williams’ international teammates to the line. The midfielder who will come in place for Thomas Parte and Gorguinho is expected to complete his move to Arsenal (Dharmesh Sheth), despite interest from Real Madrid.
Arsenal plans to trigger his £50 million release clause a year after Zvimendi publicly refused Liverpool, and ultimately seduced him to Britain. Fabrizio Romano, known as the “World-Class” player by Gunners’ left-back Kieran Tierney, called Zubimendi the “perfect” midfielder for Arteta last summer.
“My personal feeling is that even if Onana and Douglas have the advantage of already knowing the Premier League, Zubimendi would be great,” said a catch-offside reporter.
“Zubimendi is an incredible player. He can help with the vision, quality and intelligence of the ball. He is the perfect midfielder.”
