A particularly original statement is: Arsenal probably needs to sign the striker!
The Gunners’ hopes for a Premier League title have been over for a while. And what supporters want to address in the summer is their lack of offensive firepower.
A 1-1 draw with Brentford on Saturday was the 22nd in all tournaments where Mikel Arteta’s team scored zero or one goal in a match, and did so with 50% of Premier League fixtures.
So the gunner leads one of Europe’s most popular centre forwards?
Which striker is trying to sign?
According to a report by Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal hopes to complete the signature of Sports Club des Portugal do Portugal striker Victor Gökeres, which it believes will be available for just £55 million this summer.
Transfer focus
Mega Money deals, controversial moves, famous flops. This is the home of transfer news and opinions across Football FanCust.
Athletics David Ornstein and James MacNicholas previously reported that Gunner had “a strong interest” in Swedish international striker, and the newly appointed sports director Andrea Berta is said to be a long-term worshiper.
They add that Arteta’s preference is actually to sign Gyökeres’ international teammate, Alexander Isak, but Newcastle United has no intention of selling the best assets, let alone their direct rivals.
So, could Gyökeres be the last piece of Jigsawpa?
How Gyoker improves Arsenal’s offense
Both Gabriel Jesus and Kai Herberts are currently on the sidelines for the long term. The Brazilian burst an ACL with Manchester United in the FA Cup in January, but the German needed hamstring surgery after suffering the injury at a warm-weather training camp in Dubai.
However, despite scoring 29 goals for the club, Hubbert was never assumed to be an Arsenal striker and initially signed as a midfielder.
Meanwhile, Jesus simply wasn’t the same since suffering a knee injury against Cameroon in the final World Cup.

As the table outlines, Jesus cannot simply be expected for fitness reasons and is unlikely to feature again until Christmas, so he cannot take part in Arteta’s immediate plans.
As a result, for now, Mikel Merino is at the forefront of Arsenal’s offense. His astonishing strike against Real Madrid last Tuesday was in fact the club’s eighth, six of whom came since becoming emergency strikers in Leicester in February.
Nevertheless, Gyökeres will be a clear upgrade for the Spaniard, as his astounding statistics on the sport have been proven.

Gyökeres’ statistics on the sport are clearly terrifying, so Romano labeled him a “goal machine” and added that he “is being “required by some clubs for the summer.”
Meanwhile, Ben Mattinson of Breaking the Lines believes the Swedes are “clinical finishers with big movements,” and was also impressed by his “link-up play, physicality… (and) top quality ball strikes.”
Andrew Mangan speaks of the Arsecast addition, claiming that Gyökeres represents the “Win Now” signature. This is exactly what Arsenal is trying to do. He is an incredible upgrade with the current options.
