Liverpool’s winger Federico Chiesa is reportedly one of the names on Naples’ list of transfer targets this summer, according to Alfredo Pedura’s Football Italian report.
Chiesa joined Liverpool from Juventus last summer, but it’s safe to say he hasn’t had much of an impact on his first season at Anfield.
This may lead to Chiesa making a quick exit from Liverpool. Naples appears to consider him as one of many options.
Still, for now, Naples’ priorities in that position seem to be Bologna’s Dan Nudoi, but Chiesa is said to be careful too.
Should Liverpool already remove the Federico Chiesa?
Liverpool has several options so you don’t need much chains when things are standing.
Italian International is a great player of the time, but obviously not enough to break into Arne Slot’s side regularly.
It’s hard to see Chiesa’s situation change anytime soon, unless one or more of Luis Diaz, Cody Gakupo and Diogo Jota leave the LFC this summer.
With that in mind, Chiesa is now able to return to Italy as soon as possible.
Everything will change in Liverpool this summer
Chiesa was Liverpool’s only signature last year, but this time we expect a much busier window.
Florian Wirtz is linked to red by athletics and so on, which only means Chiesa pushing the order of Pecking further down.
Meanwhile, we’ve seen Premier League champions confirm Jeremy Fripon’s signature, replacing Trent Alexander Arnold, tied up by Real Madrid.
Slot inherited a team that settled from Jurgen Klopp last year, but now it appears he has his stamp on this team and the players are coming and going.
