Billy Elekana Sleeps Kevin Christian in Opening Round – UFC Vegas 110 Highlights

Billy Elekana scored his third career knockout win at UFC Vegas 110, defeating Kevin Christian in the night’s featured prelims.

Christian hit a leg kick hard in round 1, causing a nasty knot in the shin of Elekana’s lead leg early on.

With just under two minutes left in the round, Elekana landed a powerful right counter that caught Christian’s jaw cleanly. Christian slams him to the mat and Elekana hits him with a series of ground attacks. When Christian tried to scramble, he allowed his hips and allowed Elekana to lock in a rear naked choke.

Christian tapped out repeatedly, but on the opposite side of referee Chris Tognoni’s position. Tognoni realized that Christian was unconscious and finally stopped the fight.
