BJ Penn was released on bail after being arrested for the third time in six days on Friday.
This latest arrest comes from Penn’s failure to appear in court. This was a violation of his previous bail agreement when he was detained on two separate occasions due to family and household abuse. As a result, a bench warrant was issued for his arrest.
Penn was hit with two bail violations from these two arrests and was eventually released from custody after paying $2,000 in bonds.
According to another report from Hawaii’s Khon2, Penn requested that the bench warrant be recalled as he allegedly missed the court because he was ill with Covid. Obviously, the judge objected, and Penn was arrested again.
The judge also denied the pen’s request for restraining orders against his mother, Lorraine Singh, on the allegations that he “does not establish a basis for relief.” This is the second time a judge has rejected a pen seeking restraining orders against his mother after making several disturbing posts on social media about several members of his family being killed and replaced by con artists.
Penn’s request was denied, but the mother was given a temporary restraining order to her son. She demanded that he always stay at least 100 feet away from her after detailing how he inflicted her “extreme psychological abuse.”
In her first submission, Singh allegedly stole her mail, including allegations that Pen placed glue on her door to prevent him from entering her bedroom, and allegations that he was allegedly arrested when he was arrested.
In a statement to the court, Singh allegedly blinded her with a bright flashlight to prevent her from calling police after Penn saw her mail in the back seat of a vehicle driven by one of her son’s friends. As she tried to get the mail, Singh claimed that Penn grabbed her by the arm and thrust her into the car, and the mother cried out for help from her son Reagan Penn.
“I think my son (BJ Penn) suffers from Capgrass Delusion Syndrome (a mental disorder in which he holds the delusion that his friends, spouses, parents and other close family members have been replaced by the same con artist.” “I believe he is the con artist who killed his family and killed them to control his family’s assets.
“In my best interest in my safety, I will ask the court for six months (a temporary restraint order) and order my son to obtain treatment and other sources of treatment.”
The judge granted the restraining order on the next court date set for June 10th.
Penn, 46, raised concerns about his mental health after he made many posts about his family being murdered and replaced by a con man. The UFC legend also posted a video showing his first arrest last Sunday as police detained him for three three times within a week.
