BlackPink is a world-renowned Korean girl group known for its powerful performances, chart topping hits and fashion forward style. Since their debut in 2016, they have become international icons and have broken records across music, social media and pop culture.
Almost two years later, Blackpink returned to the stage on a deadline-bound world tour, impressing fans around the world. But as Global Icons also turn their heads in the sportswear scene and redefine fashion both off-stage, their influence has not stopped at the sold-out arena.
In K-Pop Group’s first Sportswear collaboration, Fanatics and Complex collaborated to drop an exclusive MLB (and NBA) collection by Mitchell & Ness, combining Blackpink’s signature style with the pride of their hometown.
pieces remake the classic team logo on hoodies, t-shirts and hats, and integrate the iconic black and pink color scheme of black pink to create a bold fusion of team spirit and Korean pop style. It pays homage to not only Rapride, but also the intersection of global music culture and American entertainment.
The collaboration also highlights other major cities and their iconic teams, featuring the Los Angeles Lakers along with outstanding Chicago and New York franchises.
Starting July 8th, the collection will be available online at Fanatics. Los Angeles fans can also shop in person at special fans and complex pop-up events running from July 11th to 13th.
