Bo Nikkal is planning to bring in double obligations in the world of combat sports.
The promotional official told MMA Fighting that the UFC middleweight has signed the real American freestyle wrestling organization. Nikkal continues his mixed martial arts journey while competing for authentic American freestyle.
The wrestling organization is spearheaded by longtime wrestling coach Izzy Martinez and wrestling legend Hulk Hogan, former senior vice president of WCW, Eric Bischoff.
“Bo Nikkal is a tremendous athlete and one of the most skilled wrestlers on the planet,” Hogan said in the release. “Nickal will soon take the RAF roster to new heights with competitiveness and experience. When fans participate in the RAF event, they will see that they will be able to see the best on the mat.”
Nikkal is one of the most pedigree wrestlers to transition to MMA as a three-time NCAA Division I national champion at Penn State.
Since moving from mat to cage, Nikkal has earned a 31-second knockout in his pro debut, then a shot in the Dana White contender series. Nickal stopped both DWC opponents in the first round before winning the UFC contract.
From there, the 2019 Dan Hodge Trophy winner won the victory on his first four-octagon outing, but in his recent battle, Nikkal suffered his first defeat when he was stopped by Renier de Riders at UFC Des Moines in May.
