Brandon Ingram predicts about the Toronto Raptors over the 2025-26 season after he watched after his deal

Brandon Ingram joined the Toronto Raptors in February 2025. He wasn’t playing the game, but they believed enough to sign him an extension. Ingram himself believes in the project as it predicts postseason execution.

The Toronto Raptors have undergone a major change in the offseason at the exit of Masai Ujiri. They are now firmly present in a new era, including star player Brandon Ingram. That doesn’t mean Scotty Burns is coming out as a cornerstone, but he now has a true All-Star level player with him.

The Raptors organization quickly accepted Ingram on a three-year contract worth $120 million. He is committed to the team, believing in the team’s potential and paying back their trust.

The Raptors had a disappointing 2024-25 season just calling up a 30-52 record. Despite that record, they were 11th in the ranking, so they almost reached the play-in tournament. Of course, Ingram was not on the roster, considering he was dealing with injuries.

Ingram is back for the 2025-26 season, so he’s ready to help his team. He is a great addition to his team, providing scores and reliable playmaking. Ingram is a good complementary piece for Scotty Burns, providing more freedom of attack. Ingram has been ready for a while, but he looks forward to helping the team.

This team can surprise people with players like RJ Barrett and Immanuel Coineley on the Raptors roster. Ingram believes he feels that raptors are heading for the playoffs in the 2025-26 season.

“We’re playing the playoffs, we’re trying to build a championship habit. What I saw is that they play hard. They play really hard with offensive and defensive purposes,” Ingram told the media.

“They have already found their identities on the defensive side, and I can’t ruin it. I need to play as hard as they are.”

The Eastern Conference isn’t as good as last season, so the Raptors could be a surprise team. They could use the Boston Celtics team without Jason Tatum or the Indiana Pacers team without Ty Halliburton.

Achilles’ injuries ruined opportunities for multiple teams, but that could mean other teams would capitalize. Toronto has a team that can do that, especially when Ingram plays for the Raptors. Most people know that Burns is a star, but having a strong supportive cast can shock people.

Basketball fans should realize that the Raptors can compete again. They have great coaches and stars who can become all-stars like Ingram and Burns. As Ingram believes, if they find the right mix, the Raptors could be in the postseason.
