The Los Angeles ‘ starting rotation has been dominant this postseason.
So far, they have been historically dominant in the National League Championship Series against the Milwaukee Brewers.

According to STATS Perform, the duo of Blake Snell and Yoshinobu Yamamoto made MLB history by becoming the first starting pitchers to allow four or fewer hits over at least 17 innings in the first two games of a postseason series.
The previous record was the five hits allowed by the Chicago Cubs in Games 1 and 2 of the 1906 World Series against the Chicago White Sox. After 119 years, that record was broken.
Snell started Game 1 on Monday night and made history by becoming the first pitcher since Don Larsen in 1956 to face the fewest batters through the eighth inning of a postseason game. He also became the first pitcher to pitch at least eight innings and allow one or fewer hits in a postseason game.
His final batting lineup consisted of 103 pitches, 1 hit, 0 walks, 0 runs, and 10 strikeouts over 8 innings.
In the second game, Yamamoto stole the ball and chased the big shoes. After allowing a home run on the first pitch he threw, things looked bleak.
But the next 110 pitches were dominant.
Yamamoto pitched a complete game with seven strikeouts and one run allowed.
His final batting lineup was 9 innings pitched for 111 pitches, allowing 3 hits, 1 walk, 1 run, and 7 strikeouts.

The two teammates combined to shut out the Brewers, giving Los Angeles a commanding 2-0 lead in the NLCS back at Stadium. He has also largely succeeded in keeping the ‘ bullpen away from the mound, which has been a key to Los Angeles’ success amid bullpen struggles.
