Bryson DeDanbaugh used his second 70 through difficult and windy conditions to take over Paul’s position at Liv Golf Miami at Trump National Doral on Saturday.
Deccanbo crushed a 400-yard drive to secure a birdie in the first hole of the day, seeking his third Liv Golf personal title. Reigning US Open Champion offset two bogeys, earning day 5 in the tournament and adding birdies to holes 5, 16 and 17 to win two strokes ahead of the competition.
The other Crusher GC teammates finished the day in the top 14, but Crusher is third in the Fireballs GC. 4AcesGC is second.
Fireball, who is seeking a fourth consecutive tournament title, is well represented by Sergio Garcia. His day featured birdies of 1, 3, 10 and bogeys of 6 and 17.
Ripper GC’s Marc Leishman shot a 1 to build a three-way tie in third place at 2 under the tournament. He is associated with Patrick Reed (75) and Phil Mickelson (73).
John Rahm fired a 2-under 70 to 1 under in the tournament, tied it to Dean Barmester (71).
Dustin Johnson (75) is a stroke that has returned to 8th place. Charle Schwartzel (75) and Cameron Tringale (72) are tied to their ninth stroke on par.
