Manchester United continues the resolve of Brentford star Brian Mbeumo, who continues to maintain the conversation by the weekend as the Premier League giants aim to secure a deal by next weekend.
According to Transfer News expert Fabrizio Romano, negotiations are on track and the Red Devils are optimistic about receiving green light in the coming days.
United’s interest in Mabemo has grown significantly following his impressive performance in the Premier League, becoming one of Brentford’s most influential players.
The attacker scored 20 Premier League goals last season, attracting the attention of the UK’s biggest club.
Man United remains in discussions with Brian Mbeumo
Romano posted on X:
“Manchester United continues to talk positively about Brian Mbemo this weekend, hoping to get the green light by next weekend.
The player keeps his words. He wants to join Man United rather than entertaining conversations with other clubs. ”
What makes this potential transfer even more convincing is Mbeumo’s own attitude towards the situation. As Romano reported, Cameroon International is fully committed to joining Man United.
The player reportedly revealed to his representatives and Brentford that Old Trafford was his preferred destination. Despite interest from the Premier League and elsewhere throughout Europe, he has not entertained discussions with other clubs.
Mbeumo is ready to join Red Devils
This clear intent from Mbeumo greatly boosts United’s negotiating position as they work to finalize terms with Brentford. The deal has not yet been sealed, but with increasing optimism within the club that an agreement could be reached by the end of next week, Mbeumo is now in time for much of United’s pre-season preparations.
Following Matheus Cunha’s signature from the wolf, Red Devils plans to make Mbeumo the next famous signature.
Their transfer business will then continue, as well as new strikers will be seen by Amorim and his recruiting team.
