Right-handed pitchers Ben Casparius and Kyle Hart, outfielders Estery Lewis and Justin Dean will be at Stadium with their team on Monday
Casparius and Bullpen options and Casparius and Hurt allow one of Ruiz or Dean to consider team plans as a defensive exchange from the bench and pinch runner.
Kyle hurt the breakdown
Hart, 27, hasn’t pitched at the major league level this season after undergoing Tommy John surgery last year. He gave seven relief to Triple A Oklahoma City in his rehabilitation assignment and allowed two runs in 9.1 innings with 1.03 ERA on 10 strikeouts.
At the major league level last season, Hart made three appearances (one start) and allowed one in 6.2 innings with a 1.35 ERA.

He hasn’t had enough time to get the opportunity in the majors this season, but he is clearly healthy and could become a weapon in October.
Ben Casparius’ collapse
Casparius played a key role for the this season, making 46 appearances, three of which started. He also finished six games and got two saves.
Overall, Casparius has an ERA of 4.64 and had an option earlier this month. The wanted him to not only take a little break, but also work on putting out a right-handed batsman.
The need a right-handed bailout on their postseason roster, so it’s likely that he will be a factor in their plans.
Estery Lewis and Justin Dean Breakdown
It makes sense to put these players together. Only one of them will get the roster spot (even if they win either).
Ruiz and Dean are both plus runners and defenders, and are teams who prefer to be on the postseason bench.

Lewis went 21-4 (.190) and Dean went 2-2, with mostly defensive opportunities and as a pinch runner, neither of them hit very well in LA this season.
Nevertheless, LA can appear to add some speed to the edge of the bench in either form of these players.
