All grooming fighters competing in the Canelo Alvarez vs Terrence Crawford event are eligible to win additional cash on Saturday night.
On Friday, UFC CEO Dana White announced plans for the evening performance and fighting bonus.
“So in the Undercard battle – Canelo and Crawford try to do well on Saturday night, they’re fine – but in the Undercard battle, we’re going to have a night performance and a night fight,” White revealed Stephen A. Smith Shaw. “$100,000 each for Sheik Turki’s undercard fighter.
“So you can get involved in night performances and night fights and bring $200,000 home for these undercard fighters.”
This is a slightly different setup than the UFC card, with the promotion passing two night bonus performances and a night bonus, but everyone in the competition will have the opportunity to win that award.
Instead, these $100,000 bonuses only cover undercard fighters with Canelo and Crawford.
On Saturday there will be a total of nine undercard fights with Callum Walsh, who White has been personally promoted and hyped in recent years.
Based on White’s statement, except for Canelo and Crawford, except for all fighters, are eligible for bonuses from Aralsif.
