Carlos Sainz learns his fate from the FIA after swearing at a press conference

The FIA judged Carlos Sainz after swearing at a press conference on Thursday.

The Williams F1 driver escaped the penalty, which could have been a fine of 40,000 euros ($45,370), Reuters reported.

The FIA chose not to introduce Sainz to the F1 Bahrain Grampuri stewards because of his language.

“Carlos apologised very much and admitted that the language he used was incorrect,” a FIA spokesman was quoted by the Daily Mail.

“He said he would make an adjustment. He’s not being introduced to the steward.”

Carlos Sign escapes another fia fine

The reason for Sainz’s bad words at a previous press conference in Bahrain Grampuri was to complain about the fine he received a week ago for another misdemeanor.

Sainz crashed into his pocket for 20,000 euros (half of which was stopped) at the Japanese Grand Prix due to delays in the national anthem.

He claimed that the FIA was delayed due to “stomach problems” that he took into consideration to lower the fine from 60,000 euros.

However, Sainz was furious in Bahrain a few days later: “It’s a problem for me that I have to pay 10,000 euros five seconds late.”

He added decisively: “S *** is going to happen.”

The words violate the FIA clampdown on the language used by drivers in official press conferences.

Max Verstappen has been punished especially for community service after sworn last year.

However, Sainz found support from George Russell, director of the Grand Prix Driver Association.

Russell called it “expensive poop” to Sainz.

Russell also made it clear that the harshness of the punishment is not suitable for Sainz’s crimes.

A few days later, Sainz at least avoided another expensive hit.
