Celtic was able to knock down the curtains in another successful campaign at Parkhead, and according to reports, he was able to let go of one of his long-standing stars.
Changes may occur due to Celtic this summer
Brendan Rogers will be disappointed that his side failed to see domestic highs on the line, but the double and concrete progress of the Champions League should not be sniffed in the grand scheme of things.
Nevertheless, the end of the long campaign has come at a good time for Celtic, who has already begun to make decisions about staff who support talented teams.
Greg Taylor is currently under contract and could set off after six years of great service, but as his loan spell approaches the end, a talk to resolve Jeffrey Schulp’s future at Parkhead is ongoing.
Given that his parent club Crystal Palace is currently paying him £60,000 a week, it remains to be seen whether the contract will be destroyed to bring Ghana International permanently to Glasgow.
Looking ahead, Rogers urged Celtic to use the final defeat of the Scotland Cup for Aberdeen as fuel for the next season.

Scott Bain is set to leave Celtic to a free transfer
According to the Herald, Scott Bain is allowed to leave Celtic to a free transfer despite having one year remaining on his contract at Parkhead.
The 33-year-old seeks first-team football elsewhere after becoming a distant backup option for Casper Schmichel and Virgiamisinisalo between the sticks.

Aberdeen goalkeeper Ross Duhan is not signed and will replace Celtic’s Bane.
Shortening his deal may be the sudden end of former dandy star Bain’s era in Glasgow, but he enjoyed some memorable successes and was brilliantly filled when asked by Neil Lennon, Ange Postcogle and current boss Rogers.
However, he hasn’t played a minute since beating St. Mirren 3-2 in the tail end of his last campaign, so it makes sense for the former Scotland International to try his luck as numbers elsewhere.
