Marseille is reportedly giving a lecture this summer about the move of Wolves’ Fullback Nelson Semedo’s transfer.
Molineux’s transfer window was already a tough start while Matheus Cunha joined Manchester United and Rayan Ait-Nouri was trapped in his move to Manchester City.
Now it appears that another famous departure to watch out for may be Semedo, which is firmly in Marseille’s vision.
According to Foot Mercato, the Ligue 1 giant has already been in some discussions on the deal, but it is still looking at whether it is progressive.
As for its value, the report also adds that the wolf is trying to keep the player in place and bring him to a new contract.
Nelson Semed will be taking part in the Wolf’s Book of Exodus this summer?
Semedo is the latest big name to leave wolves after Cunha and Ait-Nouri this summer, and appears to have become other star names like Ruben Neves and Pedro Neto.
I imagine Joao Gomes is also another name to watch, as it could be a truly challenging window for the Midlands outfit.
If the wolves lose so many players and can’t trade them, they could become one of their favorites for relegation next season.
Nelson Semed would want to play in Europe
Semedo is enough to level up for clubs like Marseille and play in Europe.
At one point, the wolves may have been challengers for Europa League or European Conference League locations, but it appears they have retreated.
That certainly only makes it difficult for them to keep their best players now.
