Former NBA player Channing Fly came out and said the Indiana Pacers were targeting star players in the OKC Thunder in Game 1 of the NBA Finals.

The Indiana Pacers stole Game 1 on the road after Tyreese Halliburton hit the game-winning shot to give the Rick Carlisle men a 111-110 victory.

After the Heroics in Game 1, Halliburton unveiled the iconic line from Michael Jordan’s shoe commercial, thanked his teammates for yet another clutch shot.

The 25-year-old joins elite companies like Reggie Miller and LeBron James.

Meanwhile, the OKC Thunder got another great night from Shygilgauss Alexander as he scored 38 points.

However, the other Thunder stars weren’t against the Pacers, particularly Chet Holmglen.

Former NBA player Channing Frye said Holmglen failed to do his best in Game 1 of the NBA Finals.

Holmglen scored six points and grabbed just six boards with a 2-9 shooting from the field.

He only played 23 minutes in the game. The Pacers continued to double, putting him in a mismatch.

“It felt like each series, or each game. They put players under compulsions, certain players step up and certain players exposed,” Frye said of Holmglen’s performance.

“And tonight it was Chet. I’m not saying that all games are going to happen, but tonight they went to Chet and got a double team to get the win.”

He also added, “Everyone else was solid and he didn’t do enough to keep them what they needed today and prevent Pacers from going for the run.”

Holmglen was an instrumental part of the Thunder team throughout the regular season and playoffs.

His two-way abilities are elite, and his teammate Gilgauss Alexander even called him the winning player after his elite performance in Game 4 with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The 23-year-old has been fantastic throughout the playoffs, averaging 15.8 ppg, 8.4 rpg and 1.9 bpg.

He has won several important baskets and also has good protection for the paint with big matchups.

Game 1 was a worrying performance, but Holmgren is expected to step up to the next matchup and help the Thunder get past the line.
