With an incredible finish, the Indiana Pacers seized the 2025 Eastern Conference Finals Opener.
The Indiana Pacers unleashed an incredible comeback performance over 14 with less than three minutes remaining, beating the New York Knicks with a 138-135 overtime victory in Game 1 of the East Final.
The hero of Aaron Nesmith saved the Pacers by hitting 20 of his 30 points in the final five-minute restrictions, draining six threes without a single mistake.
NBA fans secured a Game 1 extension where Tyrees Halliburton appeared again as the night star for Indy, and the buzzer-game 1 extension where the go-ahead jumper pushed the historic turn of the pacer.
Indiana Pacers fans went wild after a late game victory. Especially John, father of Ty Halliburton.
The John Halliburton clip was distributed on social media following the Game 1 thriller, where he celebrated it by mimicking Reggie Miller’s iconic chalk gestures.
Older Halliburton saw him watch the game at the bar along with fans of several other Pacers.
And for Charles Berkley, it’s time for him to come back and join the game.
NBA legend dropped a poignant statement about Halliburton’s infamous attitude towards Milwaukee, which led to his absence in the Indiana playoff game.
Now, Berkley is urging NBA commissioners Adam Silver and Pacers president Kevin Pritchard to return to John.
“It’s time to bring Mr. Halliburton back into the building,” Berkley said in a post-game report for the NBA Game 1 game.
“Adam, I’m asking you, hey, my man paid the dues. He did something really, really stupid, but he was punished.
“Listen, he paid the dues. It should not be indefinite. He was punished well. He never did anything stupid again.
“Adam, you know how much I love you. My man, Kevin Pritchard, Y’all brought Mr. Halliburton back into the building for Game 3.”
John Halliburton made headlines when he became famous when he stormed the court and defeated Giannis Antetocomo in the aftermath of the Pacers’ first-round victory over the Milwaukee Bucks.
He already issued an apology to the Bucks superstar for his inappropriate behavior, but later Pacers officials announced they would no longer be participating in the Pacers postseason game because of a “foreseeable future.” It is unclear how involved Commissioner Adam Silver is in decision-making.
Tyrese Halliburton sets a straight-line record for the possibility that his father will return from seeing him face-to-face again, noting that John wants to entertain his comeback with a WWE-style welcome.
We can only wait to see if the NBA and Pacers organizations accept Barkley’s demands, but there is no denying that John Haliburton’s potential return will add another exciting element to this fierce East Final showdown.
