Tomorrow is a key milestone in Jarrell Kuanza’s career, and the Liverpool defender will complete medical care ahead of his move to Bundesliga Champions Bayer Lebakusen.
The deal, which was rated as an add-on with 30 million euros and the highly rated English U21 European champions have signed a contract with Leverkusen until 2030, with all documents being prepared earlier this week.

However, Liverpool’s recent move into the market and the need for Kuanza to play regular first-team football at this stage of his development, the Reds agreed to sanction the move to Leverkusen.
As part of the deal, Liverpool will retain a buyback clause that will be active from the summer of 2027 and will be able to re-sign Quansah for €60 million.
At Lebakusen, Kuanza is expected to replace Jonathan Ta, who joined Bayern Munich as a free agent this summer.
Kuanza’s imminent arrival is considered the main coup for Leverkusen, who has appointed former Manchester United boss Eric Ten Hag as his new manager this summer.

The transaction is expected to be officially confirmed within the next 48 hours until medical care is successfully completed on Monday.
