Estevao Willian arrived at Stamford Bridge this summer with plenty of excitement, but Chelsea now believes another teenager can follow in his footsteps.
The Brazilian, who scored against the side of former club Palmeiras of Enzo Maresca at the Club World Cup, is leaning for an incredibly bright future.
Despite being just 18 years old, Estebao already boasts seven senior caps on the Brazilian national side, beating Chile 3-0 in the final qualifying round, earning the first goal of five World Cup winners.
By doing this, Estebao became the youngest Brazilian scorer in a competitive match since soccer icon Pele.
For Chelsea, Bright Young forward has already made three Premier League appearances, notching his first assist against the West Londoners in West Ham’s 5-1 demolition at London Stadium.
He is also poised to appear in the Champions League after being selected as the official team in the League Phase. I’m traveling with a Maresca man to face Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena this week.

All eyes are now on dazzling teenagers who have been called the best talent to come out of Brazil since Neymar.
“Estebao is the best player to come out of Brazilian football since Neymar. You see him and you fall in love,” Joa Paulo Sampaio, head of the Palmeiras Academy, told BBC Sports last year.
“He’s already impressed with his technique, but at this same point in his career, like Neymar, he’s not physically mature yet and isn’t as strong as Endric, so he could still develop a lot.
It surprises everyone and makes them think he will reach a much higher level. ”
However, as Estevao continues to grab headlines with his potential, the chief of Stamford Bridge is sure he will soon have the next “biggest thing” as well.
Chelsea are convinced that Dastan Sappaev will be the next Estebao
That’s what journalist Simon Phillips said Chelsea hopes for a big deal from Dastan Satpayev.
In February, Chelsea agreed to a £4 million contract to sign Sappayev from Kairat Almaty, the record transfer fee for Kazakhstani’s first section.
Now people in the club believe he could actually be the next esthetic vao.
“Chelsea believes another Estebao Willian might be in the hands of the next biggest thing rising in the game,” writes Phillips.
“Bruce sources believe Estevao will soon become a £200 million player and the club believes he is much. We haven’t heard the same comment about new striker Dastan Sappayev yet, but the club has a big belief in him and believes he can become a similar category of player in the upcoming star with Esteva.”
Interestingly, Chelsea’s faith in Satayev is backed up by Fabrizio Romano.
Fabrizio Romano says Chelsea really appreciates Satpaev
A trusted transfer journalist spoke after Chelsea put the pen on paper, revealing that Bruco is confident that he actually beat the German club to the youngster’s signatures and has “special” skills.
“Chelsea is always working on future talent,” Romano told YouTube.
“They believe that Dastan Satpaev, the 16-year-old striker they signed, has special skills,” he told his YouTube channel.
“They defeated more German clubs, earned him £3.3 million and included add-ons.”
