Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca shared the latest updates from Talismanic star Cole Palmer ahead of his Premier League return with Brentford.
Last week, West Londoners were hit by multiple injuries. There was news that Liam Dellup will be coming up until November after receiving his derby victory in Chelsea’s derby.
The summer signature doesn’t require surgery and will soon begin rehabilitation in question, but Dellup is expected to miss some big games in the winter landing, including face-offs with Liverpool and Chelsea’s trip to Tottenham, as well as a Champions League clash with Bayern Munich.

Alongside Delap, a fellow summer arrival, Dario Eschgo had surgery on thigh issues he maintained during an international break with Portugal’s Under 21, with Maresca lightening one of them in the middle.
The 20-year-old will be waiting for his Premier League debut after three appearances at the Club World Cup and taking part in Dellup for a massive period, with supporters very keen to find Starman Palmer’s condition.
England International nursed gro caliber issues after the 5-1 victory over Andorra and Serbia from Thomas Thauschel’s latest three-lions team, Chelsea’s 5-1 win over West Ham.
The 23-year-old suffered a gro caliber injury in the warm-up, and was later replaced by Brazilian teenager Estevao in the lineup, missing out on a ramp-stretched London Stadium victory and a victory over Fulham.
According to trusted sources, Maresca has only been cautious about Palmer, and telegraph journalist Matt Law has suggested this week that the former city sense could return to Brentford on Saturday.
“It was said a while ago that I wouldn’t worry too much about Cole,” he said that the London Law is a Blue Podcast.
“Cole is a very management issue. He’s cautious and wise to him. I hope he’ll come back after an international break and there’s nothing to worry about there.”
Now, Maresca is offering updates at his latest press conference ahead of Brentford.

Speaking to the media, Chelsea boss tells Palmer that he is touch and go to Brentford.
Blueco’s best signature since the 2022 acquisition was worth all £42.5 million that paid the city to Palmer on the summer deadline of 2023.
Palmer is an absolute key figure, with nearly 100 appearances for 43 goals and 29 assists, and there is even a belief that Chelsea may sometimes be too dependent on him.
Last season, Palmer was once again their chief creator, finishing the campaign with more shots on average with key passes per 90 than any other Chelsea player in the Premier League (whoscored).
If he doesn’t oppose Brentford, Palmer isn’t too far from full fitness, so Maresca hopes he’s at least suited to an opening Champions League match against Bayern Munich on Tuesday.
