Chelsea are interested in signing real Betis attacker Jesus Rodriguez at the end of the season and are considering paying his release clause in the summer.
The 19-year-old is impressed with his performance in Spanish costume this season, and he has four goals and four assists in his name. He can develop into the highest quality attacker with proper guidance, and Chelsea are considering his move. According to Fichaje, the real Betis doesn’t want to lose a player, but if his release clause is paid, he cannot stop him from leaving.
It remains to be seen whether Chelsea has decided to submit offers to players in the coming weeks. He has a £42 million release clause in the contract. Chelsea should certainly pay financial muscle. Liverpool also keeps the tabs on him.
