Chelsea hopes to sign Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United before the summer transfer window closes.
According to a TeamTalk report, Manchester United is seeking £50 million from the 21-year-old attacker, but Chelsea is willing to pay him £35 million. It will be interesting to see if the two clubs can compromise.
The report argues that Garnacho has decided to join Chelsea, and that the parties have already secured an agreement on personal terms. They want to quickly sign a contract.
Alejandro Garnacho is going to be a great addition
Chelsea need more quality and depth with their offensive units, and the 21-year-old is a long-term investment. He is an incredible talent with a bright future and has managed to grow into a key player for the club.
He showed his abilities in the Premier League against Manchester United, but Garnacho doesn’t seem to be an important part of his plans ahead. He struggled with regular game times at Manchester United last season, so it would be ideal for him to move on.
The player has been labelled as “great talent” by former Manchester United defender Rafael Valley. Chelsea hopes to nurture him to a start in the future. They have been doing well over the years to groom young talent and have been able to play an important role in the development of Garnacho.
Garnacho will try to meet his potential at Chelsea
Meanwhile, South America will try to continue his development with regular football at Chelsea, and he will try to prove his worth in the Premier League. If he fulfills his potential at Stamford Bridge, Manchester United may regret his decision to move on.
It remains to be seen whether the two clubs will resolve the differences and secure contracts via fees.
