Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher has linked his move away from the club at the end of the season.
The 26-year-old struggles with regular match times at Liverpool and he needs to leave the club to play regularly. Chelsea, Newcastle United and Aston Villa are eager to secure his signature, according to Fitchase.
Republic of Ireland International could be tempted to join Premier League clubs this summer to play more frequently. It would be interesting to see where he ends.
The Reds also signed Giorgi Mamaldashvili with Allison Becker as the goalkeeper of the club’s first choice. La Liga’s goalkeeper will join the Liverpool team in the summer, with Kelleher going down the Pecking order even further. It makes sense for him to move on.
Chelsea and Newcastle Keene
Meanwhile, Chelsea is unhappy with Robert Sanchez’s performance and he needs to be replaced. Kelleher has done an outstanding job at Liverpool as an Alisson backup option, but there’s no doubt that he has the quality that starts regularly in the Premier League. He was able to prove that it was a useful acquisition for Chelsea. He was named “World Class” by Virgil Van Dik.
Newcastle is looking at a long-term alternative to Nick Pope. The 26-year-old Liverpool goalkeeper could be an ideal acquisition for them as well. It remains to be seen whether they will come forward with offers to sign him in the coming weeks.
Aston Villa Wants to Kiel Kerub
Aston Villa sees him as the replacement of Emiliano Martinez, who links to the exit from the club. The Saudi Arabian club is keen on the World Cup winner, and it remains to be seen whether Villa will be able to properly replace him this summer.
All three clubs become attractive destinations for Liverpool goalkeepers.
