Chelsea and Newcastle United are linked to the move of West Ham United attacker Mohamed Kudus.
The 24-year-old was a key player at the London Club, but he could be sacrificed to raise money this summer.
West Ham is looking to improve their team during the summer transfer period and will need to sell Ghana International.
Chelsea and Newcastle boost
Chelsea and Newcastle are keen on players and will be closing their moves in the coming weeks. According to Football Insider, West Ham is reluctant to sell players, but it is helpless to stop him from leaving due to financial situations.
Pete O’Rourke said: “Maybe West Ham will reluctantly sell him because they know what they have to do.
Chelsea and Newcastle need Mohamed Kudus
Kudus shows his abilities in the Premier League and he has the quality to play for the largest club in the country. Chelsea need more depth in their offense, and the 24-year-old could be the ideal acquisition for them. He can operate anywhere across front 3. He creates opportunities for his teammates to achieve his goals and helps him find the backstage of the net as well.
Chelsea has qualified for the Champions League and is an attractive destination for players. It could be an ideal challenge for him at this stage of his career.
Similarly, Newcastle needs more depth in attacks as well. They are overly dependent on Alexander Isaac and Anthony Gordon. To complete Front 3 you will need another versatile attacker.
Kudus improved both teams in the final third, and it’s still unclear where he’ll end. Both clubs will be able to offer him Champions League football next season. He has 19 goals and 13 assists in 80 matches for Hammer. His numbers could improve when playing on a good team with quality players.
The transfer may ultimately result in the club being able to agree to a deal with West Ham.
