Chelsea reportedly moving forward with Athletic Bilbao Malone Sannady as one of the next transfer targets.
Morocco International doesn’t have a particularly impressive score record, but Bruce still appears to be a lauder of his all-around qualities.
That’s according to a report by Fichajes that says Chelsea is keeping an eye on Sannady, who is seen as someone who is trying to take his game to another level, both in the blues and athletics.
Still, the 24-year-old scored only one goal in every tournament last season.
Chelsea certainly need to aim higher than Maloan Sannady
Chelsea can do more options ahead of time, but here they need to be a little more noisy and aim higher.
While Sannady may prove to be a slow bluemer or someone who offers more than just a goal, it now looks like a risky signature for them to pursue.
The West London Giants have adopted a strategy of signing the world’s best young players.
But Sannady is 24 years old and if he develops into a world-class advance, we’ll certainly see it by now.
Does Chelsea need more experience anyway?
Even if CFCs leave Sannadi and target more elite younger talents in that position, they are probably thinking about adding more proven and experienced players anyway.
Harry Kane suggested Bayern give Chelsea the edge in the Champions League last night because of their experience in this competition.
Many of the Chelsea players were playing at this level for the first time, but they definitely showed off as Bayern ultimately beat them 3-1.
The old Chelsea side produced results and won the Champions League, even if it wasn’t their favorite, but Enzo Maresca’s youthful side certainly lacks those qualities at this point.
