According to multiple sources, Rome has reached an agreement with Liverpool on the relocation of Costas Tsimica. The Greek left back will join Jalorossi on loan during the season, with the Serie A side fully covering his wages until June 2026.
The arrival of Milos Kerquez from Bournemouth early this summer meant that one of Tsimikas or Andy Robertson would likely leave before the end of the window. Robertson was the target of Atletico Madrid at one point, but the move didn’t come true as La Liga chose to focus on other places. Kerkez and Robertson both move ahead in the Pecking order, so it’s obviously Tsimikas who will leave Anfield.
Olympic Marseille also reportedly asked about the 29-year-old Greek International, but Rome should be more decisive and close the deal soon.
Tsimikas has made a total of 115 appearances for Liverpool and earned 18 assists for his name.
