The Los Angeles Clippers reunited with Chris Paul ahead of the 2025-26 NBA season.
Chris Paul is no longer at the height of his NBA career, but La Clippers fans are still excited about his return ahead of the new season.
With the Clippers not yet beginning their preseason, fans will have to wait before they can see the hardwood CP3 in their team’s jerseys.
However, Paul has already begun training with his new teammates since the start of NBA training camp.
It’s not the only addition the Clippers have made this offseason. They added several free agents, including Brooke Lopez.
This is the first time since 2018 that Lopez has worn a jersey other than the Milwaukee Bucks. Speaking of Lopez, the veteran center seems to have left an astonishing impression on Paul during his training.
“I’m playing with a new group of guys. Everyone, Brooke Lopez. He’s been in the league for 18 years now.
“It was pretty drugs to compete with him for a long time and now get the opportunity to play with him,” Paul told Clippers reporter Justin Russo.
Lopez had a great tenure with the Bucks, but having a pole by his side helped him become an even better player. After all, Paul’s playmaking abilities are still the best in the league.
When Paul played for the Clippers he was still at the best of his career and was the team’s floor general.
The Clippers star still respects Paul’s abilities, but it’s not surprising that fans see another version of the NBA All-Star, 12x on the team.
In fact, former NBA player Matt Burns urged Paul to improve his communication during his second stint with the Clippers.
Burns, a former member of the “Rob City” Clippers, played alongside LA’s CP3. It will be interesting to see if a 40-year-old child can implement this request in court.
