The Los Angeles recently parted ways with veteran Christaylor and played in their 10th 28th season with the team.
Fans certainly miss the All-Star Utility Man, but he’s not too far from Stadium as he signed with the Los Angeles Angels on Monday. Taylor spoke about what it would be like to stay in the Greater Los Angeles area in a new uniform.

“I’m excited to be home – I can live there,” Taylor said. “The Angels play really good baseball so I look forward to joining the team and being on the field. That was one of the this year. My role wasn’t on the field very often.
Taylor joined the Halos team just day, removed from an eight-game winning streak. The All-Stars spoke about how they can contribute to this talented group.
“First and foremost, I want to play on the field,” Taylor said. “I want to help this team win the ballpark. I feel there’s a lot to prove to myself. I felt I could play the last few seasons, so I want to turn that around.”
Taylor was batting .255 from 2016 until 2023, his first season with the . The final two seasons have been a little more struggling from the utility star.
The veteran batted .199 in the past two seasons. This is the mark 36% below the league average.
Perhaps the changes in the landscape are less dramatic about the changes, but it’s good for veterans as we see an increase in workload in Anaheim. Fans will never forget the countless memories he has provided since his arrival in LA, but all that remains is that he wishes him good luck in his next chapter until the next highway series.
