Hunting Tottenham Hotspur’s new number 10 this summer was certainly frustrating – the hierarchy couldn’t raise talent to support Thomas Frank in his first year.
Morgan Gibbs-White and Eberechi Eze are two players on this window’s radar, but neither player will move to North London before the Monday deadline.
The former writes a three-year new contract for Nottingham Forest, while the latter completed a £67.5 million move to join the Bitter Rivals and Boyad Club Arsenal.
To exacerbate the new boss issues, current 10 options James Madison and Dejan Crucevsky, went missing until at least 2026, with the duo injured in recent weeks.
With only a few days left in the transfer window, the hierarchy will need to work tirelessly to gain top-level options to support Dane in search of success in the 2025/26 Premier League.

Nico Paz has appeared as a potential Spurs option over the past few weeks, with the Lilywhites tier bringing an offer of 700 million euros (£61 million) to 20-year-old Como.

Called “world class” by former Spurs star Rafael van der Wahto, RB Leipzigster has registered 11 goals and eight assists in all competitions in his last campaign.

However, his underlying statistics are just as impressive, and also offers him the opportunity to emulate Eriksen’s success in Lily White.
He also scored a total of 2.2 chances per 90, and successfully dribbling 1.4 per 90. He highlighted the threat of poses with the ball at his feet, providing opportunities for the likes of Mohammed Kudus and Richarisson to build an impressive start to the season.
The young talent doesn’t stop there, earning 75% of the tackles he’s in, and a duel of 5.7 per 90, showing him his power and his ability to regain his possessions on his side – something essential to Frank’s relentless press system.
Despite bidding for the Dutch signature, it remains unclear where the attacking midfielder will be transferred on Monday.
