Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana is reportedly accepting to leave Old Trafford this summer, even if Reuben Amorim could keep his faith in him.
Despite his poor performance over two years at Man UTD, Amorim still appears to have lost his faith in Onana completely.
That’s a report from Footmerkat, which adds that Cameroon International is still accepting that it will leave, says Saudi Arabia’s Club Neom is in talks with his representative.
Onana looked like a great player for former club Inter Milan, but he was almost truly poor during his time at United, and it might be wise for the club to move him.
Diogo Costa is United’s radar goalkeeper before summer, so changes could occur at that position this summer.
In fact, it appears that Onana can do well at this stage of his career, leaving MUFC and spending a big payday in Saudi Arabia.
Manchester United will definitely need to change goalkeepers this summer
United have a lot of problems with this struggling team, so goalkeepers aren’t necessarily considered their top priority.
Still, it’s somewhat surprising to say that Foot Mercato is happy to affirm that Amorim is eager to stick with Onana when Amorim stood out as one of the team’s poorest performers quite regularly.
People like Porto Shot-Stopper Costa are certainly a big upgrade and if you’re interested from Neom, United should definitely receive any money they can get and run.
However, United are weak in so many regions, and they are also keeping an eye on new strikers, wingers and midfielders.
Rasmus Hojlund did not exist in front of goal, but flops and misfits like Marcus Rashford and Antony certainly don’t have a future for the club after being loaned out in January.
