Coach Paddy Pimblett revealed what sets “Baddy” apart from other fighters.
Pinblet will be active on Saturday, April 12th as the UFC returns to Miami for a loaded pay-per-view event inside the Caseya Center. The UFC 314 Co-Main event will see Pimblett, along with former Bellator Champion ‘Iron’ Michael Chandler, be the toughest test ever.
With the night of the fight turned the corner, Pinblett coach Paul Rimmer sat inside fights to discuss the upcoming clash of Ribapudrian and what’s different to most combat sports athletes.
“Paddy has a very elite, elite mindset,” Rimmer said. “He doesn’t feel or shake up how he feels about beating someone in a fight. He’s not a person who worries about things like that. I think he stands out.
Pimblett was a perfect 6-0 under the UFC banner, and his recent victory against King Green in the UFC 300 in April came. “The Baddy” had to be less than a round to send the greens through a triangular chalk.

Prior to that, Pinblett defeated both Tony Ferguson and Jared Gordon through a unanimous decision. In a victory over Chandler, Pinblett could throw himself into the lightweight top 10, potentially bringing one big win from his first shot in UFC Gold.
As for Michael Chandler, the Missouri native is about to snap a skid who lost two games after fighting Dustin Poilier and Charles Oliveira in his final two appearances. Overall, “Iron” is only 2-4 in the UFC and is desperately clung to his place in the top 10.
