Giannis Antetokounmpo’s future with the Milwaukee Bucks has been a major topic of discussion since the team lost to the Indiana Pacers in the first round.
Shams Charania reported that the 30-year-old is considering a possibility of leaving Milwaukee, and many rumors have been making rounds ever since.
As soon as the free agency opened, the Milwaukee Bucks showed their intention to maintain Giannis’ Anteto Compo in a four-year, $107 million deal.
To follow it, they decided to abandon All-Star Guard Damian Lillard to promote Turner’s move and free up cap space.
However, many teams are still considering ways to seduce Antetokounmpo, and NBA experts believe the Houston Rocket can win the sweepstakes.
The Rockets created a big splash by bringing Kevin Durant to the roster while also adding players like Clint Capella and Dorian Finney Smith.
The franchise began its offseason business by extending the contract for head coach Ime Udoka and has been active in the market ever since.
However, NBA expert Collin Cowherd thinks this isn’t enough to win the title, and the team will ultimately end up in an Antetokounmpo deal.
Speaking on his show, he said:
“And Houston said, “Okay. Sengun Giannis All-Star Jabari Smith backed up KD this year, with five unprotected first-round picks and perhaps a deep bench spinning player.
“Now they’re KD, Amen Thompson, Giannis and other young people.”
Antetokounmpo has had many successes with the Bucks since it was drafted in 2013.
After winning the championship in 2021, it was expected that the Bucks would continue to build to become candidates for years to come.
However, they have failed to put a good roster around Antetokounmpo since their championship victory.
Despite his lack of talent, Antetokounmpo worked very well, averaging 30 points over the past three seasons.
The team has made an effort to put a few good players around him, but the Bucks don’t have enough talent to compete against the other side of the league.
Many people cried out with their thoughts about Antetokounmpo moving out of the Bucks, but the players want to end his career in Milwaukee.
He expressed his desire to be one franchise player, but he hopes to win several more championships.
It seemed unlikely in Milwaukee, and while he was still at his prime, the players quickly understood it and were able to go his way.

The Rockets seem like a great option as there are so many young talents that can be packaged for Anteto Compo.
Teaming up with players like Durant is great for Greek freaks.
It gives him the support he needs to be superior and the duo quickly favours Houston to win it all.
