Conor McGregor is calling his shot.
He has now nominated Michael Chandler as his opponent to face on the coming UFC White House card in 2026 as the previous two divisions of UFC champions are working back to compete for the first time in more than four years. Friends with Fox.

McGregor seems certain, but UFC CEO Dana White has repeatedly said he is not planning to fight for the UFC White House event until February next year.
That said, White admits that he is constantly in contact with McGregor and that the Irish superstar seems very serious about making his long-awaited return with the historic cards happening at the White House.
McGregor hasn’t fought since suffering from a terrible broken leg in the trilogy against Dustin Poirier.

“In my mind, I think I’m fighting Conor McGregor in the White House, and that certainly means a lot for a lot of reasons.”
It appears McGregor is on board, but now, depending on the UFC, he has actually booked the long-awaited matchup.
