Conor McGregor is stirring the pot again.
The biggest star in MMA history hasn’t competed for nearly four years, but talks about what it takes to return to the UFC’s Octagon. Following the success of WrestleMania 41’s business in Las Vegas, McGregor responded on Twitter to set conditions for return.
“I’m back at the stadium,” McGregor wrote.
“The Notorious” was scheduled to compete in the main event of UFC 303 (promotional annual international fight week card) this June. The ultimate fighterMichael Chandler. A few weeks before the scheduled match, McGregor retreated with a toe injury.
McGregor followed the return tweet in a message to Chandler.

“Iron Mike Chandler. An unfinished business,” McGregor wrote.
And that’s all for Chandler. Shortly after McGregor’s post, former Bellator Champion responded by letting him know his interest.
“Unfinished business road…” Chandler wrote.
Chandler then followed up a series of posts about the thread.
“Dut out the old contract and add new ink…” Chandler wrote. “I’m ready tomorrow.
“Your words are your bond. If your words aren’t good, then you’re not good in the end.”
McGregor has been doing a wealth of business with long layoffs since suffering a brutal leg injury in a stoppage that was stopped by Dustin Poirier in a recent match at UFC 264 in July 2021.
Chandler suffered a TKO defeat to Paddy Pimblett at UFC 314 earlier this month.
