The 2024-25 season was a climax for the Dallas Mavericks. Luka Doncic suffered from tension in the left calf in late December, missing out on a straight game of 19.

At the trade deadline, general manager Nico Harrison surprised the NBA landscape by sending Luka Doncic to the Lakers. Fans were furious at Harrison’s rushing decision. In addition to this, Mavs has made several players who missed extra time due to injuries in 2024-25. However, Dallas hit the jackpot and scored the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. The only player the Mavericks are working on before the draft is Duke’s Cooper Flag.

Dallas is scheduled to train at FLAGG on June 17th. The Mavericks draft all-purpose elite talent. Flag does everything well on the coat and is a refined product.

From 2024-25, Flag won the National Player of the Year at Duke, a national consensus. Cooper Flag’s freshman season at Duke was highly anticipated and he endured the hype. Next season, Flag will be taking part in a unique roster. Dallas has the talent to win, and Flagg just adds to the equation. He will join Anthony Davis, PJ Washington, Derrick Lively, Naji Marshall and more. Kyrie Irving misses months to start the season with an injury.
