Crystal Palace will need to strengthen their team ahead of their play in the Europa League next season, and new targets have been identified. One of them can be signed from Premier League rival Newcastle.
Oliver Glasner has requested a new signature at the door at Selhurst Park this summer, and he needs to get his wish. The success of the FA Cup allowed Crystal Palace to spend more money and some of those funds identified Lewis Miley as targets, allowing them to go to Newcastle.
Crystal Palace is interested in Louis Miley’s summer moves
According to Sam Cohen (via Givemesport), Crystal Palace is aiming at Miley as an option to improve the midfield. The 19-year-old is keen to play regular football next season, and that’s likely to happen at Selhurst Park.
“Crystal Palace is one of the clubs that are keen on regular first-team football and are willing to leave Newcastle United. They may consider winning cash while the club is reluctant to sell their homemade talent.”
It has previously been reported that Newcastle would consider requiring Miley to leave permanently. The teenagers have struggled with playing for the past 12 months and have found it difficult to replace one of the Sandrotonaris, Brunogimalaes or Jollington.
It is still unclear whether he will be able to do business with Miley. It represents Newcastle’s pure profits, which could fall into the hands of Crystal Palace in the hopes of signing an exciting young talent before the 2025-26 Premier League season begins in August.
