Crystal Palace may be forced to sell Ebebekieze this summer, but they are already lined up alternatives from their Premier League rivals.
Eze has attracted strong interest from the likes of Man City and Tottenham, and with his contract reporting a £60 million release clause, Crystal Palace cannot stop him from leaving if it is activated. As a result, the club’s sports department is forced to arrange the exchange.
And one of the players added to the list in recent weeks is Newcastle’s Joe Wilk.
Crystal Palace is interested in Newcastle midfielder Joe Willuck
According to Chronicle’s Everything Is Is Black and White Podcast (via Geordie Boot Boys), Crystal Palace believes it will be able to sign Willlock this summer.
Wilk is at a crossroads in his Newcastle career as his contract enters the final two years in the summer. This uncertainty is available through Crystal Palace, especially as the former Arsenal midfielder was behind Bruno Guimarès, Sandro Tonari and Jollington, not a regular starter at St. James Park.
Willock took off into his Newcastle career in 2021, and his loan agreement was transformed into a permanent £25 million. However, his performance has declined in recent seasons due to injuries and has increased as he moves.
It is still unclear whether Crystal Palace will make Will Rock’s move in the summer, but if so, Newcastle is expected to welcome offers coming in their way, although it is unclear what their asking price is.
