Dakota Ditcheva panmering one of her best performances, Sumiko Inaba, through a 15-minute event at the PFL Africa 1 Co-Main event on Saturday.
Inaba considered putting pressure on Ditcheva from Get-go, but it was Ditcheva that proved to be a faster, more powerful fighter. As Inaba tried to push Diccheva down against the fence, the 2024 flyweight tournament champion overturned positions with Will and landed an absolutely brutal knee while controlling Inaba with Typeram.
The trend continued in the second stanza as Inaba began to damage her face. Still, the Hawaiians were not attached to her pursuit, so they continued walking through Diccheva with reckless abandonment.
At one point in the third round, Diccheva appeared to inform her corner that she had broken her left hand. The damage undoubtedly affected her offensive output in the final five minutes, but did not stop her from moving to 15-0, earning a dominant unanimous decision victory over Inaba with the much-anticipated PFL return.
Official Results:Dakota Ditcheva def. Munico Inaba (no scorecards given) via unanimous decision.
