Dan Devine has expressed his opinion on what could lead to a change in Bradley Beal’s reputation as an NBA player.
After purchasing a contract with the Phoenix Suns, Bradley Beale signed a two-year contract with the LA Clippers.
There are many questions about this move as Beer goes to LA after two poor seasons with the Phoenix Suns.
He averaged 18.2 points per game and 17 points per game each in his two years with the Suns. It may not look like a bad number, but Beale averaged 30 points in the league so long ago, and was one of the league’s best scoring guards.
His reputation isn’t the best, but Devine has revealed one way he can get it back.
Beale was a star of the Washington Wizards, but he wanted to win the championship.
At the time, it seemed like an ideal move, as Beal was expected to join forces with Kevin Durant and Devin Booker to bring about unstoppable crime.
But things didn’t work for the trio as all three needed the ball to score and ultimately had to sacrifice beer.
He didn’t say goodbye to the team on good terms and even put a small farewell message on his social media.
Beal certainly may not be the same star once, but Devine believes winning the playoffs will help him gain his reputation.
Devine said: “He was paid as long as it was paid and got the trade clause because the wizard said, “I don’t know what the future is looking at without you.”
“Because of his reputation in fandom, he has to do something he hasn’t done since 2017. This is on the teams who win the playoff series.
“If Bradley Beale enters the first round of the playoffs and he’s like the eh and the Clippers losing again, we’ll just be right. Bradley Beale isn’t a meaningful player when it comes to affecting victory at the highest stage.”
Bill Simmons is set to become the team’s third fiddle once again as Beale questioned the move towards the Clippers.
The 32-year-old was the Suns’ third choice, but his co-stars were Durant and Booker, both of whom needed the ball to score. But with the Clippers, he is a teammate of James Harden and Kawi Leonard.

Harden and Leonard can both score, but they don’t have to make the ball shocking as they can play other roles on the court. This allows Beal to play his natural games.
He has also had playoff experience since his days with the Wizard. He averages 22 points in the playoffs. This is decent for players who weren’t on a great team.
Beer playing with the Clippers is expected to play on both ends, similar to Norman Powell. But the team has been stacked much more this year on the defensive side, which John Collins and Brook Lopez added.
He can focus on scoring and being efficient. If Beal does it, the Clippers are set to a great run in the West.
