Dan Gilbert, owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers, is hoping for a LeBron James-esque miracle from his team.

After winning Game 3, many were hoping for a solid comeback from the Cleveland Cavaliers against the Indiana Pacers.

However, they feel that victory is fluke as the Pacers dominated CAVS in the Eastern Conference semi-final Game 4 contest.

Following an embarrassing 129-109 defeat, the Cavs face a 3-1 deficit in the series. That said, Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert tried to motivate his team at LeBron James Point.

A 3-1 break will almost solidify the team’s elimination in the postseason. However, it is not impossible to recover from this situation.

Every time the team faces a 3-1 deficit, fans are instantly reminded of James and the Cavaliers heroes during the 2016 NBA Finals. Gilbert scored the same points after the Cavaliers’ “ugi” Game 4 was defeated at the Pacers’ hands.

“Hey, Cavs fans… Yes, it was ugly, but we’ve been here before. It’s three consecutive time for the two to come home. Let’s start with Game 5 on Tuesday,” Gilbert tweeted on X.

Losing hope is not an option, but it appears that Gilbert has forgotten that there is no longer someone in James’ caliber on the team.

Plus, even LBJ needed the support of Kyrie Irving’s great second superstar to stop the miraculous comeback.

According to data provided by Sofascore, Cavs had no answers to the Pacers in the fourth game in the series.

If the 20-point loss is not enough to highlight, it’s enough to just take a quick look at the game’s complete stats.

The Pacers shot 52% off the field, compared to 42% in the Cavs. Plus, Indiana’s playmaking was better than Cleveland’s playmaking.

Indiana also committed only 10 turnovers. Meanwhile, the Cavs’ 22 turnovers guaranteed a loss in a critical matchup.

Finally, it is important to emphasize that the Cavaliers shot 40 free throws compared to the Pacers’ 20, but they were still lost at a large margin. So they certainly cannot pin this defeat to officials.
