Giannis Antetokounmpo started the season in full domination mode with the Milwaukee Bucks.
Giannis Antetokounmpo is averaging an impressive 36.3 points, 14.0 rebounds, and 7.0 assists in video games, while shooting 69.5 percent from the field.
Giannis helped the Milwaukee Bucks get off to a strong start with a 3-1 record, despite what many were saying about the Bucks at the beginning of the season.
If Antetokounmpo continues to put up these ridiculous numbers and the Bucks continue to win, he should be in line for the MVP award.
Former NBA champion Danny Green weighed in on Giannis’ stellar performance, which will help the Bucks compete in the East this season.
Green compared Giannis to Russell Westbrook during his time with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Giannis and Westbrook share the same kind of explosiveness that many players don’t have.
Green said the biggest difference between Giannis in Milwaukee and Westbrook in Oklahoma City is that Giannis is in the East, where the conference is much easier than in the West.
“There’s a big difference. Russell was in the west, and the west is tough, while Giannis was in the east, and it’s wide.”

“We just have to worry about Cleveland and New York, and we just proved we can beat New York.
“Russ was in the West and they didn’t win. If Giannis keeps winning games, it’ll be a different story.”
The Bucks recently faced Eastern Conference championship favorites, the Cleveland Cavaliers and New York Knicks.
Against the Cavaliers, the Bucks were competitive on the road, but ultimately lost by just five points.
In the next matchup, Giannis dominated the Knicks, and the Bucks came from behind to defeat New York at home.
It’s early in the season, but these little tests show the Bucks can compete with the best teams in the East.
