“I wasn’t myself. It was difficult. I wanted to avoid it in the long run, but I reached the point where I needed to have surgery, and that was exactly what it was.
“It’s basically like a brand new toe. I really got my 10th toe back. I didn’t have toes at the end of last season. I had nine toes. I felt like I was playing with nine toes. That’s how I explain it.
“Every type of movement was tough. Putting shoes on was tough. Walking was tough. Running was tough. I told everyone last year.
“I strengthen every week. I’m getting better every day. I’m just taking the time to do that. I’m not on a date right now. I’m trying to get back to 100% and get ready for June when it really matters.”
Darius Garland’s successful recovery will be great news for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Kenny Atkinson’s team is ready to run things next season.
The Cavaliers are capitalized, especially considering whether the Eastern Conference will be their next season.
