Los Angeles manager Dave Roberts claimed they’re playing the best baseball they’ve played all year round after the won the NL West for the fourth straight season.
The have won six of six of their last eight games. This is mainly because explosive attacks roamed and hit all the epic starting pitching performances.
“We feel like we’re playing the best baseball of the season,” Roberts said. “Winroth doesn’t reflect that, but I think that’s the most important thing. There’s a lot of good things and a lot of growth.

After losing the first two games of the three-game series to the Philadelphia Phillies, the won the final game of the series 5-0. They followed with three more wins against the Giants. They then clinched the division by dominating in the final game of the series before having some dangerous games against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Despite the struggles this season, the are almost fully powered, and October is just around the corner and can play on any team in the postseason.
“What I think is quite a bit of talking about is everything we went through, this team has kept us connected,” Roberts said. “That’s where you can learn a lot about the player personally and collectively. It gets rough, hot, you start to struggle and get hurt – we didn’t make any excuses and we keep fighting.
