The Los Angeles have a lot of uncertainty surrounding them ahead of the trade deadline, but the pitching roster hasn’t had a clear sense since spring training.

In addition to some of the team’s poorly performed healthy options, the trade deadline has added new fuel to the rumoured fires around the team’s pursuit.

Manager Dave Roberts recently spoke about right-handed Dustin May, but there was no answer for what the next thing he had at the 27-year-old:

“I don’t know yet,” Roberts said Sunday about the tweets that the are open to potentially dealing with.

“We push the line down a bit,” Roberts said. “But honestly, things seem to change a lot every week. So now, I don’t want anyone to put them in the corner right now. After this start, I’ll read a bit and react.”

There was a recent attempt to turn May’s role into a bullpen earlier this month. Shoe against Minnesota twins, taking the pig from the start of the hei ohtani shoes, May didn’t give up on the run. His next outing, the Boston Red Sox, started less successful, giving up four runs with five hits, and not taking a walk with five strikeouts and a walk.

I was strong in May until the fifth inning, but the triples followed by two runs, and there was a considerable damper that day.

There’s certainly room for improvement with a 4.85 ERA in 104 innings this season, but another team with a clear need for pitching will likely hit a deal to regain his past value. May is known for his elite ones and his movements on the pitch, but when batters come into contact, they usually feel a quality shaking with his offering.

May is in the 16th percentile in terms of average exit speed, with batters ranked at 90.8 mph against him, averaging 90.8 mph, ranked both by swing and miss percentage in the 15th percentile, chasing batters the pitch outside the strike zone.
