Los Angeles manager Dave Roberts has hinted at the possibility of making lineup changes ahead of Game 5 of the World Series.
Asked if it was time for a change, Roberts said: “I think so.” “I’ll think about it. Tomorrow might be a little different.”

Roberts said he is deciding between three players for one spot, likely the No. 9 spot in the lineup.
“Essentially, it’s, do I play Andy (Paiges), do I play (Alex) Cole, or do I play Miggy Roe (Miguel Rojas)? So I’m trying to think about all of that and calculate it and figure out what’s going to give us the best chance tomorrow.”
Manager Roberts removed Pages after his second at-bat in Game 5 and replaced him with Alex Cole, who was 0-for-2. Pages is 4-for-50 (.080) with an OPS of .215 this postseason.
Tommy Edman was not initially expected to be a center field option this postseason due to an ankle injury, but ended up playing in extra innings in Game 3. Roberts was asked before the game if Edman could be an option for the rest of the series or if he intended to remain at second base.
“I’m not saying there’s a zero percent chance,” Roberts said of Edman playing center field. “The way we were going into the game was kind of a situation where we were trying to keep our guys there. But it’s certainly a possibility.”
If Roberts is happy with Edman playing center field, Rojas could be used as the second baseman. If not, Roberts will either keep things the way they are and put Pages in center field, or move Cole to left and Quique Hernandez in center field.
