Los Angeles superstar base-handed Freddie Freeman left his defeat to the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday after being attacked by an 88 mph sinker from South Paw Jose Quintana.
Freeman appears to have felt no pain after being hit. Instead, he went straight to the dugout and walked to the clubhouse. The announced that Freeman had been diagnosed with conspiracy on his left wrist.
Manager Dave Roberts spoke at Freeman and provided post-match updates.
Skipper said X-rays are negative and Freeman will be “days.”

“Losing him will be really difficult to overcome,” Roberts added.
The skipper also mentioned what Freeman said calmly after hitting the pitch.
“He said, ‘It hit my wrist and I’m going to have it checked.’ ”
Freeman had a history of frustrating injuries that went back to the second half of last season. This had to break the hairline fracture of the middle finger in August, the sprained day of the ankle before the start of the postseason, and the rib cartilage that had to fight along the way on the incredible path to becoming the 2024 World Series MVP.
With the accumulation of scar tissue in Freeman’s ribs, he locked him out of the Tokyo Series to kick off the 2025 regular season, tweaking his surgically repaired ankle in late March, resulting in him missing 10 games.
A promising update from Roberts and a “avoidable bullet” with Freeman’s prognosis gives fans far more hope than the uncertainty he feels at his exit.
If Freeman is forced to miss anytime, Roberts said Dalton Rushing would start with a base.
