The Los Angeles didn’t have many pitchers this season. There are already 12 on the injured list, only the end of April.
In particular, it’s Blake Snell who has two Cy Young Awards in his name, rather than one of the $182 million offseason additions. After experiencing shoulder inflammation and leading to a trip to the injured list, Snell has not been delegated for most of the month.

Manager Dave Roberts provided a positive update to All-Star Southpaws after his slow program was closed this week.
“He has an MRI (Friday) morning and there are no new discoveries,” Roberts said. “So, at some point, he gets the injection to calm it down and I think they’ll figure it out when they pick up the throwing program. But given the findings from the MRI, we’ve dodged the bullet.”
Snell last touched the mound against the Detroit Tigers on April 2nd, originally placed at IL after its inception. The skipper couldn’t provide an accurate timeline, but he was sure the two Cy Young Award winners wouldn’t miss out in the long run.
“I don’t know how long it will last, but knowing there’s no damage is certainly a huge relief,” Roberts said.
It appears that LA help is on the way, as Clayton Kershaw and Tony Gonsolin appear to be promising at the beginning of their triple-A rehabilitation assignments.
Additionally, Shohei ohtani is heading towards his return to the mound this season, but it was clear that the team is not in a hurry to make two-way stars.
Snell doesn’t have a timeline yet, but the lack of structural damage and the talent waiting for talent on the wing to return seems like the best scenario given the circumstances.
