One of the many exciting events of the Los Angeles in 2025 will be the revival of superstar shoes Hei ohtani on the mound. The defending champions added Blakesnell and Lokisasaki this offseason, but Otani will become one of multiple aces in the ‘ starting spin.

However, as spring continued, Otani’s slow progression stopped. It has now been agreed that the and the existing National League MVP are best prepared for Otani to become the team’s designated batsman when the season begins.
Currently, Otani is throwing a scheduled bullpen again, but for a while he will not face a live batsman. Manager Dave Roberts provided the latest update on the superstar pitching progression as the continue their conservative approach to Otani’s return.
“I think he understands that it’s a collective decision and that the goal is to make sure that the end of the season and into October, fire on all cylinders,” Roberts said. “We’re in Rockstep, so in that sense I don’t think there’s any anxiety, anxiety or frustration in Shoe Hei.”
The ‘ starting rotation is already beginning to decline within a month of the regular season. Blakesnell was on the injured list prior to the team’s series with the Washington Nationals, but is expected to return relatively soon.
Otani, Clayton Kershaw and Tony Gonzolin are not ready to pitch yet, so the will turn to younger pitchers to keep them floating for the time being. Landon Knack will fill out for Snell while dealing with shoulder inflammation.
The LA pitching depth will be tested early this season, but we hope that the rotation will be healthy if October rolls.
